Responsibilities
Operate wide format cutting machines with precision, ensuring accurate cuts according to production specifications
Interpret production documents, layouts, and digital files to execute cutting tasks efficiently
Perform routine machine adjustments and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance
Manage color consistency and quality control throughout the cutting process, ensuring vibrant and accurate color management
Collaborate with prepress and graphic design teams to prepare files using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software
Conduct routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including large-format printers, screen printing presses, and flexo presses
Monitor production workflows, troubleshoot issues promptly, and document all operational activities for quality assurance
Requirements
Proven experience operating large-format printers, cutters, or similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing or print environment
Strong technical proficiency with prepress software, digital printing technology, and machine operation procedures
Knowledge of color management principles, typography, layout design, and print advertising standards
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery adjustment, machining processes, and equipment troubleshooting
Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is highly desirable
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to quality control and process improvement
